The first Editor's Choice Writing Contest will be different from the on-line contests. It will be an on-the-spot writing contest held during Word on the Street in Vancouver, B.C. September 28.
If you want to enter, find our table and pick up an entry form there, or you can find me as I
roam around. I'll be the one wearing the blue shirt that says, "The Editor." Both the entry fee and prize structure will be different from what is offered on-line.
The fee is only $2.00. Participants may enter as often as they like. (The sixth and subsequent entries from one author are free.)
Prizes for this contest only will be fame and glory . The top five entries will be posted here, on the Writer's Helper site.
All entrants will receive a brief critique.
If you will be in Vancouver on September 28 I hope you will stop by to say hello and enter the first Editor's Choice Writing Contest.
If you want to be notified about upcoming writing contests, email me to be put on my mailing list. I hate SPAM as much as you do and I promise not to share your contact information with anyone. I also promise to take you off the list whenever you wish.
Update: There are now only three winners still listed here. An entry has just been removed by request of the winner.
