Use a Thesaurus

My writing is always better when I use a thesaurus. I love it. It increases my quality at least 127%. I even used a thesaurus for my title.

Thesaurus Use
by: Audrey

This is a great tip.

Many people regularly use a thesaurus to improve vocabulary.

Here is my caution: Be very sure that you fully understand the alternate word you choose. Double check in a dictionary. These days, I would also do a Web search for the word to check many other uses. Not all uses on the Web will be accurate uses, but I often get a feel for how good someone undertands vocabulary by the overall tone of a Web site.

Finding the perfect word for a situation brings joy to a writer's heart.
