Here's a twist on selling your book.

Stephen Blood wrote a children's book, The City of Lost Socks, but instead of sending query letters or the manuscript to potential publishers, he's listed the rights to his book on e-Bay.

Listed as auction item #190102443444, the publishing rights have a starting bid of $13,000.

So far I see no takers.

If he does find someone who wants to publish his work, he may have paved the way for others to follow.
