Writers Network, Editor's Notes 80 December 15, 2009 |
Hello, is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it comes -- Benjamin Disraeli In this issue: 1. Writers network on the Net 2. Tickled my funnybone 3. Interesting Web site ========== 1.Writers network on the Net One of the best ways to succeed in any business is to have--and use--a great network. The net part of the word Internet highlights the way a Web site is part of a worldwide network. It's not enough simply to have a Web site, although that's a good place to start. An effective Web site is part of a business strategy that capitalizes on networking. If you have a book to sell, you'll want a Web site that makes you visible on the Web and that makes the most of the networking capacities. I learned the Internet business for free at http://inspected4u.com In the next issue I will write about one way for a nonfiction writer to use a Web site. =========== 2.Tickled my funnybone "Red Tape Holds Up New Bridges" (Oklahoma construction program) =========== 3. Interesting Web site http://www.pwac.ca/ is a great resource for freelance writers in any country, but is particularly good for Canadian writers. =========== If you know a writer who would appreciate receiving Editor's Notes, forward this issue.
