Peer Writing Help or S.O.S
by Emilio
(Shellharbour,NSW, Australia)
That the writers nearly always work alone, it's just right. In my case and probably others the reason is COST. To get professional advice and/or help it is pretty dear at least for novel writers living out of Pension. My hard question is, Is there any passionated writer willing to help, mainly in Editing?
Emilio,
The best way I know of to get peer writing help is to join a local writing group. Some of these charge a nominal fee. Others are free.
In the groups that I've joined or started, we each writer shares his or her work, and others comment. Here are the general
writing group rules we have used.
I've started groups when I couldn't find one that would meet my needs.
If you cannot find a group or start a group, consider self-help like that available in
Get Your Writing Fighting Fit, my book on self-editing.
The better your work is before you get professional editing, the less you will pay for that editing.
