Copying is not my thing

by Meghan
(United Sates)

Hi. I am currently try to write a vampire story, but when I look back at it, it looks a lot like the Twilight series. How can I make it my own thing without it looking like I stole some of the ideas?

different ways of styling it
by: Anonymous

As long as the plot is different. the characters are different, have different points of views. Also if you think your starting to sound too much like somebody else just throw something completely random into your book, and let that evolve. It like if two people got the same haircut. it won't look the same, different colors, different hairtype, different ways of styling it.
