COLLECT WORDS & PHRASES!

by Peacha
(Canada)

Buy several note books - you'll need more than one! And start word collecting. Everytime you read something - an article, a book, even a sign start writing down favorite words and phrases. Learn to flip through books even of different genres - anything that catches your eye - write it down. Even funny mistakes on website comments write them down. They'll be a great source for character development and any time you feel your writing getting dry pull it out and get inspired. Here's some I found:
Ice wine Chocolatz 4 U
Cupcake bottoms ( girls with )
brailing through the dark ( when the lights go out )
Strip-and-go-naked ( drink )
hot syrupy kisses
glittery paper snowflakes
fluorescent popcorn
pneumatic lips
