Be Open to Others Ideas!

by Heather
(North Bay)

My friends and I write together. We get together and take turns on who writes next. One thing I have learned from this is, don't be touchy.

If someone says, "This needs to be changed." Then it probably does. Don’t take a hissy fit. They are your friends and are giving you valid advice, I suggest you take it.

Also, Don't be afraid to put in your opinion. If you see a mistake that needs to be fixed, then voice it. They are your readers, if the reader says, "It would be more interesting if you did this," Then seriously consider it. And you are also the reader, if you think the writing piece needs a different path then say so.

With love, Heather.
